How and where to buy cryptocurrencies: credit card, paypal, transfer
Do you want to buy cryptocurrencies? Learn how to do it through the various means of purchase that TruBit has for you. You can do it by credit card, Paypal, bank transfer or directly with an external seller through P2P commerce.

Remember that you will need to verify your identity for the purchase to be successful. Mercuryo's system will ask you for photos of your official identification (depending on the country of purchase) and a facial verification.
How to buy cryptocurrencies with a credit card
Another way to buy cryptocurrencies with a credit card is through the Banking system, also from TruBit Pro. You do it in the following way:
- Log in to Trubit Pro and make sure that you have passed the process of KYC verification.
- Choose 'Quick Tradet'.
- Enter the amount you want to buy and select your currency.
- You will automatically see the amount of cryptocurrencies that will be deposited in your account (You can choose between Bitcoin, USDT or Ethereum).
- It will redirect you to the Banxa website and ask for your payment information.
- Once the payment is confirmed, the cryptocurrencies will be deposited into your TruBit Pro account.
Banxa has a transfer limit of 1,150 and 20,000 MXN. In addition, you may be asked for identity verification, although this will depend on the amount of crypto you want to buy.
Buy crypto with Paypal
Another payment method available to acquire cryptocurrencies is using Paypal, with the security of this platform. You do it in the following way:
- Go to the TruBit website
- In the 'buy crypto' option, select the 'p2p trade', dedicated to person-to-person transactions.
- Choose the Crypto you want to buy and then click on 'I want to buy'.
- Select a seller that accepts Paypal as a payment method.
- It will take you to the Paypal login page, where you will need to enter your account.
- You can pay with credit card, debit card, your Paypal balance and with your bank account.
- Remember that once the payment has been made, do not forget to click on 'Confirm payment' to begin the process of releasing funds.

Buy cryptocurrencies with Mercado Pago
You can buy cryptocurrencies with Mercado Pago. You do the process as follows:
- Go to the TruBit and TruBit Pro website
- Choose the 'Buy Crypto' option and then select 'P2P Commerce' (Peer to Peer).
- It will take you directly to the P2P trading section, the space dedicated to person-to-person trading.
- Select the cryptocurrency you require and choose 'I want to buy'.
- You will get the list of available vendors along with the 'payment method' option.
- In order to pay by credit card, you will need to find a seller that accepts 'Mercado Pago' as a payment method.
- Click on buy and it will take you to the Mercado Pago system, where you can buy crypto with a credit or debit card.
- When you have made the payment, click on 'Confirm Payment' to notify the seller and they can release the funds to you.
The advantage of paying in Mercado Pago is that the accreditation is instantaneous, so once the payment has been registered, the seller will be able to release the funds to your Wallet.
How to buy Cryptocurrencies with cash in Oxxo
If you live in Mexico, you can buy Crypto in cash through Oxxo stores. The process is simple through the Peer to Peer Marketplace.
- On the TruBit website, select the option to buy P2P.
- Choose the currency you want to buy and select the seller that accepts OXXO as a payment method.
- The seller will give you all the information to deposit at any Oxxo store in the country.
- Once deposited, send proof of payment and the seller will have to release your funds into your TruBit Wallet.
- Please note that the seller has to verify the payment after making it in 'Confirm'.
This method has the advantage of being anonymous and that you do not have to give information such as your name or the number of your card or bank account. Other ways to buy Cryptocurrencies
If you are not from LATAM, you can buy Cryptocurrencies through two international payment methods such as Western Union or SWIFT transfers, and the process is very similar to the previous options:
- Go to the Peer to Peer market and select the cryptocurrency what do you want to buy
- As payment method choose the Swift option and/or the Western Union option.
- Make the payment according to the instructions of each of the platforms and when you have made the payment, select 'confirm', so that the seller releases your funds.
